3 IDIOTS - 2 HRS 50 MINS OF BLISS...

Its 2 AM ...Falit (my really really awesome friend ) is just about to touch down in about 2 hours and the recently viewed 3 Idiots' songs are preoccupying my thoughts... Well I had to pen this down. The movie has just blown me away and actually made me ponder upon the 'world-class' Indian education system and whether or not it is the right way ahead... You go in with the feeling that all you're going to get is a dour remake of 5 pt someone, that supposedly impossible to 'make-into-a-movie-without-ruining-it'  book but 2 hrs 50 mins later you come out wondering if Chetan Bhagat would have done better to watch the movie first and then write the book.

Aamir Khan, a genius and in his own league with probably the best hit ratio in the industry just testifies the very fact with the movie. Set in the serene IIM Bangalore campus, the movie opens to a scene wherein ragging is pictured. It basically depicts a frustoo wannabe engineer's life who enters an ivy league school feeling on top of the world and how his expectations come crashing down.  It unfolds into a tale of friendship who'd do anything to save each other's backs. Cinematography, dialogues and for once, even songs are awesome with Kareena looking stunning.

Anyways I wont spill any more beans on the plot but the bottomline - what I've seen at 'K' is that quite a lot of what is shown is infact real. Marks drive the whole system and its more for the degree instead of the actual learning part. Well I cant comment too much on this since I am an integral part of the aforementioned facts. 

Watch 3 Idiots to relive all the college memories, in my case, quite a few :) and for one of the better movies this year but most of all... FOR FRIENDSHIP....

anyways gtg...Its time to gear up for Falit's arrival...All of us together...FINALLY after 2 long years...Man, its been long....
